首屆“北京郵電大學中國設計講壇”將于2019年12月19日隆重開幕，本次活動以“設計驅動未來，創新系動國脈”為主題，旨在打造中國設計界TED精英講壇，為全面實現《中國制造2025》目標匯聚智慧、共享知識、引領潮流；同時為設計師與設計愛好者帶來全新視角，在新時代鼓勵他們將家國情懷與設計創新相融合，為世界貢獻“中國方案”。本屆“設計講壇”主講嘉賓為有著“中國工業設計之父”之稱的柳冠中教授帶來《工業設計——“中國方案”的踐行》。
柳冠中，清華大學美術學院責任教授、博士生導師；中國工業設計協會副理事長兼學術和交流委員會主任；香港理工大學榮譽教授。清華大學首批文科資深教授。著名工業設計學術帶頭人和理論家，我國第一所“工業設計系”創始人。其“生活方式說”、“共生美學觀”、“事理學”等理論方法在國內外產生了深遠影響，為中國設計理論體系的構建做出了卓遠貢獻。

“Industrial Design – the Practice of Chinese Approach” Design Forum
The 1st BUPT Design Forum will be held on 19th December 2019. Focusing on “design driving the future, innovation mattering the fate of nation,” the BUPT Design Forum aims at building up a professional platform for all design elites: They share wisdoms, knowledge, and understandings, bring new perspectives to young designers, and encourage them changing our life with patriotic passion. In the 1st BUPT Design Forum, we honorably invite Prof. LIU GuanZhong, who is regarded as “the father of industrial design in China,” as the keynote speaker, and his speech topic is “Industrial Design – the Practice of Chinese Approach.”
Prof. LIU GuanZhong, Responsible Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of the School of Fine Arts , Tsinghua University ; Vice Chairman of the China Industrial Design Association and Director of the Academic and Communication Committee; Honorary Professor of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University; the first senior professor of liberal arts at Tsinghua University; the most famous industrial design academic leader in China; the founder of the first “industrial design department” in China. His "lifestyle theory," "symbiosis aesthetics," "science of human affairs" and other theoretical methods have led the domestic and international design community. The directional influence has formed China's own design theory system.
